Welcome to the Capita Financial Software Support Bulletin for Quay Software products. The Support Bulletin will be sent out by email when we need to inform you of developments or changes to the products and services we offer.


Licences
You should have now entered the licence codes for your Client Care Desktop (CCD), Adviser Desktop (ADT), Link and Network Administration Systems (NAS). Should you have any issue with your license, not yet received your license or would like your license codes sent to an alternate email address in future, please send an email to support@quaysoftware.co.uk with full instructions and your company contact details

Modular Website
Morning Star; Further discussions about reinstating the link back to MorningStar for the Modular Website offering are taking place, the results of this meeting will be communicated in the next Support Bulletin.

Contract Enquiry
Clerical Medical have amended the link that Contract Enquiry uses to retrieve valuations. We are working with them to reinstate the service and will update you on this situation in the next Support Bulletin.

EDI
We have recently received requests from clients to make a minor change to the way commission messages received from Standard Life are reconciled. Most providers use unique Member Reference numbers for group schemes, Standard Life uses sequential numbers starting at 00001 for each scheme. This leads to multiple clients with the same Member Reference Number.

From 28/03/2008 we will be changing the reference number seen in commission items from Standard Life where the item relates to a Group Scheme. Instead of just the Member Reference Number, the reference number in the commission message will be the Scheme Number followed by the Member Reference Number e.g. The reference number in the commission message for Member Number 00001 and Scheme Number H12354 will be H123400001.

Tech Tips
Try and run the Quay Software Updater as often as you can, any updates that we can apply to the system remotely will be sent down via the updater. Quay Software Updater should load when you open CCD/ADT, you can also launch the program by going to: Start > All Programs > Quay Software Solutions > Quay Software Updater.
