We are now in the final stages of preparing the next release of the Client Care Desktop. The actual release date will be published on our Latest News section of the website and will also be detailed in the next monthly email update.

The Latest News section of the website can be flagged to open automatically within the CCD by navigating from the front Manager screen to SETUP > STAFF LIST and select the relevant staff member. Click on the SETTINGS tab and put a cross in the box “Display latest Quay Software news on opening the system”.

If you wish to receive a copy of the new version once released, you can pre-order a copy by sending an email to upgrades@quaysoftware.co.uk. The new release will be rolled out in a controlled manner, to ensure that we maintain our high level of support to you. When released, your pack will contain instructions for installing the cd along with a list of the modifications made since version 3.2. A full list of all the modifications of each release is available from the downloads section of our website

Easy access to Fund Data

You now have the ability to see a full listing of the funds available from Financial Express.

Life and pension, unit trusts, OEICS and offshore funds are all listed. Also, you have the flexibility to view fund managers alphabetically or select the specific fund manager you are looking for.

CCD has the ability to produce branded Invoices, which can be forwarded to your clients with ease. These will have your company logo on, as well as whom you need the cheque made payable to and a remittance slip, which can be returned with your client’s cheques for ease of record keeping.

To produce an Invoice

Having found the relevant Client from the left-hand side options click on ‘Account’ followed by the ‘Fees’ tab. You will find yourself in the ‘Invoices due’ section and down the bottom right-hand side you have the option to ‘Create new client invoice’. Click on this request. You will need to complete the details of this invoice i.e. why are you charging this client and how much. Once you have completed these options visit the ‘splits’ tab and at the bottom right of your screen you can ‘Create a printable invoice’.

Your invoice will not only be branded for you but ensures that CCD has a complete list of all invoices sent to your client(s) and what has and hasn’t been paid.

If you are getting efficient for regular fees you can also produce a pre-populated standing order or direct debit mandate, also available from your clients ‘account’ and ‘fees’ section.

If you find that either your logo or cheque payee details have not carried across correctly then revisit the ‘setup’ of your system and check that in ‘User info’ you have completed all regular boxes.
