Quay Welcomes DCUK Conveyancing

We are always on the lookout for new providers of top quality online services that can add even greater value to our software and to our IFA clients. So, we are delighted to introduce a very special new online conveyancing service from Direct Conveyancing UK Ltd.

If you have ever written any mortgage business, you will know how slow, tiresome and expensive the conveyancing process can be. Quay have teamed up with DCUK who offer an exciting and new type of conveyancing service – and once tried, you will never look back!

What’s more, DCUK have a dedicated team of chasers whose sole responsibility is to monitor the progress of your cases, liaising with all parties to ensure that matters are dealt with immediately and that nothing delays progress.

In fact, DCUK guarantee completion within 7 days of receiving the offer letter on a remortgage.

An additional benefit is that you can earn a handy revenue stream - typically of up to £100 per case, with you being able to choose the level of commission to ensure the best price for your client.

"I've never experienced this concept of speed and service from a Solicitor before - a simply fantastic service!" Martin Bamford, Director Informed Choice Ltd

"I'm so incredibly impressed with the service, I'm passing DCUK two cases a day."
Louis d'Espagnac, The Mortgage Explorer

Click here for DCUK’s page on our website for details of how their service can transform the service you offer mortgage clients.

Over the coming months, we will be integrating a link straight to DCUK from within CCD. In the meantime, you can request further information and details of how to log on to their website by registering here

Don’t forget to say that you heard about DCUK through Quay!

Automated Commissions
Another way to save huge amounts of time

  • Automated Commissions means huge time savings
  • Increase the accuracy of your data (essential in order to take advantage of other e-services such as real time valuations or policy tracking
  • 16 matching algorithms allows the system to automatically precisely match and reconcile commission expectations against receipts
  • One centralised mailbox means that all Quay users can take advantage inclusive of the licence fee
  • Customers have reported over 98% matching
  • One stop registration
  • Complete implementation process

The process of commission reconciliation represents a necessary but labour intensive process for all IFAs. The process is necessary so as to confirm that amounts received match expectation - because without proper reconciliation IFAs cannot value their pipeline opportunity or business debt. It’s also important because commissions received must often be divided between consultants, sales management, a business introducer or perhaps a network of which the IFA is a member.

With the release of the Automated Commissions module within version 3.3 of Client Care Desktop (CCD), Quay is now able to offer Automated Commissions to all CCD 3.3 customers.

Currently certain provider firms can supply automated commissions statements within an electronic message. The challenge for Quay Software has been to develop a system which could automatically receive, interpret and reconcile these electronic messages.

The Quay message hub which has been designed and built by QSS, will support the receipt and delivery of XML / CSV and EDI commission transfer messages from providers to intermediaries (automated commissions). But in order to receive these messages, firms must first register with these provider firms.

Quay recognise that to individually identify and register with available firms is both time consuming and labour intensive for intermediary firms. Therefore Quay has developed a one stop registration process. Working closely with the provider firms, Quay is able to collate all necessary information and register details for adviser firms.

For further details, please contact Kieran McGee at Quay.

Did you know?

If you are using CCD to record your new business you are automatically producing your new business and mortgage registers. So whether it’s for your own internal use or for Compliance reasons there is no need for you to duplicate this information manually.

To produce your new business or mortgage register

From the front page to CCD click on ‘Admin’ followed by ‘Reports’.

As CCD holds numerous business reports for your ease we have sub categorised them for you. We are interested in the ‘Compliance’ section. There you will find yourself with numerous report options with the New Business report at the top.

Select the time frame you are interested in from the bottom of your screen entering the start date and end date that you wish to select – e.g. your financial year. When you click on the report title your report is produced. If you find that due to the quality of your data you have gaps in your report these can be populated from your report and will be remembered by your system. This is the ideal place to cleanse your data.

Try it and see!
