Quay Modular Website

New configuration and training

Over the last few months we have been making changes to our Quay Modular Website (QMW), making it simpler for you to configure and for your clients to navigate.

Whether you are an existing user of QMW (also known as ‘My Money Adviser’) or are thinking of creating a website today and didn’t know that we offer a ‘website in a box’, there are some compelling reasons why you should look at the new version:

  • Simpler navigation for your clients as they browse the site
  • Simpler configuration (use of the edit suite)
  • Complete overhaul of all of the wording around products, performed by an industry-known compliance specialist
  • Good range of partners to enable e-business capabilities
  • Ability to configure the site as a ‘mortgage only’ site – this is done at source so that this is pre-configured

As before, due to the fact that QMW and CCD are able to share data there are some key features of QMW that really help in ensuring you can offer services to your clients that may differentiate you from your competition.

  • Client log-in to enable viewing / updating of basic factfind information
  • Client log-in to enable viewing of portfolio information – we can help you build a strategy that will enable you to keep client portfolios up to date and accurate using Contract Enquiry so that you can offer this service to your clients with minimal overhead to the business. Our business consultants are on hand and can be contacted via the training team (please see the e-mail address and number below)
  • Introducer log-in to enable introducers to be able to see the progress of leads that they have passed to your business.

Important notice for QMW users

Temporary withdrawal of uSwitch

On the Quay Modular Website (QMW) we offered a service through uSwitch, the price comparison website, an opportunity for your clients to connect to the site in order to compare prices for home utilities and broadband connection. Unfortunately this connection now allows your clients to access the mortgage and finance comparison side of uSwitch. We have of course been in contact with uSwitch regarding the removal of these pages but they have stated that they are unable to do so immediately. As a result we have therefore temporarily withdrawn uSwitch from QMW until this is resolved. We are however in ongoing discussions with uSwitch to reinstate the link as soon as possible, minus the finance comparison options but with other added features that will benefit your clients.

We will be in touch again as soon as we have a date for the re-introduction of uSwitch to QMW and hope that this move has not inconvenienced you or your clients.

Classroom Training

The most cost-effective way of being trained for a day is to come to a public classroom course.

At only £200 per delegate for a day of public training it is especially cost-effective for ‘advanced courses’, such as Knowledge Builder, Compliance and Commission and Fees, courses usually only required by certain key workers within your business.


We run each of the above courses once a month in our Bishops Stortford training centre, which is close to Stansted airport and the M11, making it an ideal choice for delegates from London and further afield by car, train or plane. Courses run from 10am until 4pm and there is a buffet lunch included in the cost.

In our last newsletter we announced the opening of our new training centre in Coventry and we are pleased to say that there have been a number of requests for the Compliance training course in particular. We hope to have a full contingent of courses running in the Coventry training centre by the end of the year if demand is sufficient, but currently it is just the basic ‘Getting Started’ course that is available.
