| It is
possible to book a Consultancy Day (or a group
of days) to look at specific areas of the
system in detail (for example EDI Commissions
or Compliance) or to look at an area of your
business process in detail to ensure that
your company is using the software to it’s
fullest and that you are working in the most
efficient and productive manner (for example
an in-depth look at your Advice Process).
Pre Session
You will discuss your initial requirements
with one of our team members, who will ensure
that your requirements are understood prior
to the appropriate day(s) being booked.
After the consultancy has been booked and
confirmed, your consultant will contact
you the week before your first day to confirm
your requirements. This is part of their
preparation for the day(s). He/she will
ensure that you are aware of any of the
necessary preparation you will need to make
in order to get the most out of the on-site
day(s).
What you should
expect on the day:
Session 1 (and sometimes session 2) of a
consultancy day is devoted to questioning,
where the consultant listens actively to
your answers to capture the details needed
to make the required decisions. This also
ensures that they gain a real understanding
about your business. The rest of the sessions
in the day are spent with the consultant
guiding the attendees through the best approach
to achieving their goal with reference to
the system.
Post Session
Following each session the consultant will
send a short report showing the areas covered
in the session and decisions made. This
will be no later than 10 days after the
session.
Sometimes additional training will be required
post consultancy to deliver the functionality
discussed in the day(s), as the consultancy
is the planning phase and the training is
the implementation phase. Usually training
courses that follow consultancy will be
bespoke courses, (where there may be a charge
to write the bespoke element depending on
the course content)
