How the Web Builder works

Web Builder is based on an SQL database. The database holds the structure of your site and all content (text, images) as well as the rules that determine the style that the content will be presented in to the end user.

You, as the site administrator, have complete control over the site content and can add and remove sections, news / information items, you can upload documents, you can create links both within and without the site. You can also decide whom you wish to have as authors for different sections of the site.

The different content styles give you the necessary structured screens to enter content easily with the guarantee that the information will be presented to the web visitor consistently. You have the ability to set an expiry date, make content live or take it offline and preview what you have done and content can be moved around the site easily within the editor (which is very useful if you wish to merge sections or if you place something in the wrong place).

The Web Builder can either sit within your current Extranet or it can be delivered as a stand-alone system. We will undertake all branding work to establish the site with the required navigation structure and to the appropriate aesthetic / brand guidelines. This will be undertaken for a fixed fee.
