Aequos
Advisers use research tools to identify suitable products for their
clients by researching the entire market. Advisers can demonstrate
the veracity of their recommendations by using Aequos's unique scoring
and graphing facilities. Additionally, they can produce justification
reports and an audit trail to meet regulatory requirements and good
practice.
Aequos is the flagship service in Defaqto's product range. Designed
for industry professionals, the system is modular and offers detailed
product information in both tabular and text format covering the
entire spectrum of financial and insurance products. It contains
a technical specification on every product in the market as well
as a wealth of supporting information. For example in relation to
funds and fund performance, the financial strength of providers
and the underwriting terms and conditions of risk products.
The content rich service is provided on a highly functional PC
based application which allows sophisticated interrogation of the
database and the production of reports and graphical analysis.
Synaptic Product Manager
With accurate product search and selection from the total marketplace,
Product Manager allows you to tailor products to justify both the
contract and the company as part of each independent best advice
recommendation you give.
