Bulk data can be used to populate a system from scratch or to refresh and update the data within your system.

Data on disc

Certain Providers offer data on disc which can be used to populate your system from scratch. The advantage of populating your system from data sourced from Providers is that it ensures that key data such as policy numbers are complete, accurate and above all compatible with the Providers own system – which is a necessary pre-requisite for the use of electronic services such as electronic valuations.

Database population using bulk data sourced from Product providers requires our consultancy services to manipulate the data, to de-duplicate client records and to correctly apply product and provider codes. Consultancy services are charged at a day rate and you should in the first instance contact sales support to discuss your needs.

Electronic data download

The integration of Client Care Desktop with bulk data services from firms such as Cofunds, enables daily or weekly updates of your entire portfolio of client holdings on that platform to be updated automatically. The Cofunds service does not require our consultancy service. The service has been designed by Cofunds to populate your system from scratch and to regularly (as frequently as daily) refresh the data that you hold.
